Overview
The CY-ELSFP-8PMF-UHP1-1311-B is an eight-channel ELSFP continuous-wave laser source for co-packaged optics. Two banks of four lasers operate at a typical wavelength of 1311 nm, with at least +23 dBm output per channel. The module provides CMIS management and a polarization-maintaining blind-mate optical interface, with a nominal 3.3 V supply.
External light for a CPO optical engine
The ELSFP supplies continuous-wave light. A compatible optical engine performs the external modulation; the ELSFP is not a complete optical transceiver.
This functional overview separates the light source, optical engine and switch ASIC so their roles are clear.

1311 nm ELSFP for 2×DR4 — conceptual view

Eight channels. One typical wavelength.
The 1311 nm model has two banks of four CW lasers. All eight channels share a typical wavelength of 1311 nm.
The specified minimum optical output is +23 dBm per channel, not the combined output of the module. Refer to the product datasheet for conditions and limits.
Confirm the optical engine's wavelength arrangement, connector and fiber assignment before selecting a configuration.
